About me
Paula Lynn leads audience research at the National Gallery of Art, studying visitors’ engagement, meaning-making, and emotional connection in the museum. She currently focuses on awe in art museums, including a collaboration with Dacher Keltner’s lab exploring how museums can create conditions for awe. Previously, she spent 15 years in museum education at the Gardner Museum and the MFA, Boston. She is also an artist and a leader for the DC chapter of Urban Sketchers.
