About me
an Anderson is Head of Imaging at The Cleveland Museum of Art, where he oversees photographic, multispectral, and 3D imaging initiatives in support of collection access, preservation, and digital scholarship. He has over twenty-five years of professional experience in cultural heritage imaging, with a career spanning large-scale digitization programs and imaging standards development. Previously, he served for ten years as a team leader in the Smithsonian Institution’s Digitization Program Office, where he helped guide the digitization of hundreds of thousands of objects across multiple museums, notably the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum and the National Museum of Natural History.
