About me
Ann Sacher is a retired general surgeon and active community volunteer. She serves on the board of Lost Women of Science, a non-profit educational organization dedicated to inspiring girls and women to pursue STEM careers. Ann is a leadership fellow at Johns Hopkins University, sits on the board of Columbia University’s Global Mental Health Program, serves as a trustee at Barnard College (her alma mater) and chair of the Nominations Governance Committee, as well as former chair of the Scarsdale Adult School. She earned her M.D. from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed her residency in general surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Barnard College.
