About me
Alex Hanesworth (they/them) is an audio storyteller and sound designer. They are invested in community oral history, the poetics of space, and in the liberatory potential of memory work. They have created media for the Center for Restorative History at the National Museum of American History (Smithsonian), the Wharton Esherick Museum, the Center for the Study of Slavery and Justice, and the RISD Museum. They have also taught radio production and oral history at Blue Stoop, the Providence Public Library, Big Picture Alliance, and Brown University.
